This Journey of expressive painting began in 1991. At first painting was cathartic. Later, experimenting with processes; approaches to creating. Learning how to access that creative flow of intuitive painting has always been the challenge. When you get it, something of value emerges. Learning to keep it fresh .. not stagnate and over-working a piece is a challenge. But if you stick it out for 30 years things start to come together and a radical movement of expressive artwork explodes..

This is the place to document those years of creative development. Having a record that is searchable is something I need to do. No time like the present.
Studied art at 4 Universities and 5 years. Leaving school for survival street artist in Chicago. About a 3 year period until (1986).
Not until 2010 that I finally rented a studio space in the River Arts District at Riverside Studio and gallery.
After a year, I concluded i wasn't really ready for the big times yet. I went home and worked on my craft diligently.
In retrospective, I was much closer to a breakthrough than I had thought. Cycles happen being a creative person.

2020 was a breakthrough year for me. Stayed home painting continuously for the whole year.
2021 the world of digital art opened up great adventures.
NFT Collections. The perfect historical tool for artist to archive their images for infinity.
2023 I'm finally back to painting again with acrylics this time. Things are really different. I know not how, but miraculous visual concepts are flowing more than ever.
Now
Creating a website and writing something.
2024 In anticipation of a new artist studio with great light where I can not only work but also have an open door to all my favorite art collectors. BKL
