Description

Cats-Eye-Direct | Part of the Cats Eye series. This one is pushed to the edge and a bit over. Turning the image clock-wise allows another image to emerge.

This is part of my learning to paint directly into a layer. Working with multiple layers which were edited by using a transparent paint tool to digitally paint back into the image as if it were liquid again. The idea is to work the same way as I do with acrylic paints. Sometimes I block out an area with very opaque paints; but mostly I work with transparent pigments and mediums that allow the underpainting to shine through.
