Painting in 2018. Year my mother crossed over.

This is what I started with.. the beginning study painting which led to the other original acrylic painting which were edited with digital.

It's a simple idea as you can see here. I could have left it here and not edited a photo of it. but the other digital images I did here would not exist.

Using digital to explore a simple idea is like playing that tune over again and again.

Way more than I would have done if all those retakes were actually a physical canvas.

Makes me feel like real-world-painting and digital painting do belong together.

This is one image from a collection of 20 years of art making. [2000-2020]

I wanted to see what I could do. I realized, painting, photography, and digital painting belong together. Complimenting each other.

Primarily, this is a collection. A collection of my exploring what I could do with photos of my real-world-paintings.

Artworks are from the years 2000 to 2020. They've been sitting on my hard-drive not doing anything for years.

It's fulfilling to think someone would want to hang my art on their wall.

But, even more fulfilling to think someone would want to expand upon the visual ideas they found in my work.

When I first started the project of editing images of my paintings, my purpose was to develop compositions as proto types. Models for creating larger acrylic /or oil paintings on canvas.

Consequently, these images have been sitting on my hard-drive for several years. Looking through them, I thought they must have some value to someone.

I could simply make a listing connecting each of these with a Printful.com account selling a print version only. Preserving my original digital file.

Instead, I'm offering the high-resolution .tif file at a ridiculously low price.

Why?
Reality pill; and my goals have changed.

As well, I think there's a possibility that some number of like minded creative people will want to expand upon the visual concepts I began. In that way, what I created will truly live on.

In my mind, theses have always been a visual idea to be expanded upon. If that's an endeavor of soul you would like to under take. I think you would find it rewarding.
