I amaze myself sometimes. When I did this, it was putting a finger exactly on my own emotions.
Yes, it was a rough day. But doing this gave me a big LOL. And laughter does sooth the soul.
Maybe, what I do should be called [Discovery Painting]. Because more times than not, the process is Discovering an image, shape, structure that I had done without thought [or / conscious efforts]. Then simply pulling and pushing the image idea until it crystalizes more.
Down Not Out is a good example. Here, I discovered this little guy in a photo of a painting I had done. Simply blurred out the texture around him so the form stood out more. Added red to everything else and black to his body shape. Everything was already there in a painting but I had not seen it before. The hands I did have to draw in the details a lot.
It was just a small segment of a painting, easily missed.
And I can see much more in the background which I could take somewhere else if I wanted. But, I'm good with it here.
When I look at this; it's a reminder that though I might be feeling like the end is near... it's not over... we're not finished until the actual end.

20 Year Collection / art years .. 2000 to 2020 ..
High Resolution print files for creators and art collectors
This is one image from a collection of 20 years of art making. [2000-2020]
I wanted to see what I could do. I realized, painting, photography, and digital painting belong together. Complimenting each other.
Primarily, this is a collection. A collection of my exploring what I could do with photos of my real-world-paintings.
Artworks are from the years 2000 to 2020. They've been sitting on my hard-drive not doing anything for years.
It's fulfilling to think someone would want to hang my art on their wall.
But, even more fulfilling to think someone would want to expand upon the visual ideas they found in my work.

When I first started the project of editing images of my paintings, my purpose was to develop compositions as proto types. Models for creating larger acrylic /or oil paintings on canvas.
Consequently, these images have been sitting on my hard-drive for several years. Looking through them, I thought they must have some value to someone.
I could simply make a listing connecting each of these with a Printful.com account selling a print version only. Preserving my original digital file.
Instead, I'm offering the high-resolution .tif file at a ridiculously low price.
Why?
Reality pill; and my goals have changed.
As well, I think there's a possibility that some number of like minded creative people will want to expand upon the visual concepts I began. In that way, what I created will truly live on.
In my mind, theses have always been a visual idea to be expanded upon. If that's an endeavor of soul you would like to under take. I think you would find it rewarding.
