An ink with pastel on water color. The starter image (jumping off point) was from "Ground Zero" a very early works painting I did in 2001 about 9-11. The infamous Ground Zero of the Twin Towers collapse in NYC.
I cropped out this segment and edited it with Photoshop. [about 16x20"in.] I printed that on to a heavy weight water color paper which works pretty well. I did try with limited success adding in some pastel.
It was Experimentation time.
The Theme could be "Stepping Into Eternity".. that's what I see anyway.

I wanted to see what I could do. I realized, painting, photography, and digital painting belong together. Complimenting each other.
Primarily, this is a collection. A collection of my exploring what I could do with photos of my real-world-paintings.
Artworks are from the years 2000 to 2020. They've been sitting on my hard-drive not doing anything for years.
It's fulfilling to think someone would want to hang my art on their wall.
But, even more fulfilling to think someone would want to expand upon the visual ideas they found in my work.

I could simply make a listing connecting each of these with a Printful.com account selling a print version only. Preserving my original digital file.
Instead, I'm offering the high-resolution .tif file at a ridiculously low price.
Why?
Reality pill; and my goals have changed.
As well, I think there's a possibility that some number of like minded creative people will want to expand upon the visual concepts I began. In that way, what I created will truly live on.
In my mind, theses have always been a visual idea to be expanded upon. If that's an endeavor of soul you would like to under take. I think you would find it rewarding.
