Paintings are visual ideas. "Abstract Focused" is a composition built by simply merging photos from several of my real world paintings into a unique visual idea.
Something I had fun with; pushing around forms and lines from marks made on a canvas by my hand. In the back of my mind, I always see these projects as potentially maturing into a large real-world acrylic painting made by hand. Alas, I may never transform this into a new acrylic painting. Maybe someone will.
I had to Flatten all the layers in this Photoshop image. It's now only 30MB. It had several layers making it a huge 700MB. But after I Flattened it (merged all the layers) it became much smaller. I developed this in a PSD file and converted to Tif.
Tiff is a great format for large format prints. A fine art printer and the best printer profiles make all the difference. Use a professional service or a professional printer.
For me, it was an Experimental work. What can I do with my limited abilities using Photoshop and Lightroom. (?)
Someone who has far greater photoshop skills than myself could take these images to the next level. Incorporating my visual ideas into their own artwork compositions.
